Learned that Barack Obama’s Web site contains lots of captioned video. Whether or not you support him — we appreciate the opportunity to get to know candidates as much as we need to with captioned television. I still prefer online mainstream videos and TV videos to be captioned over politics (after all, there’s something in it FOR THEM to have captioned videos).

Well, why not? It takes one minority to understand another.
I think it is great and a big leap in the right direction.

Well, there’s two questions that come to mind, though.
First of all readOn is a volunteer, free project that depends on donations. So basically Obama, with a mumble-million dollar campaign, took advantage of a free service when he is perfectly capable of paying to have it done?
So the second question is, did he donate to them or pay them for their work? I checked the links but couldn’t find anything that addressed that.
