American Gladiators

I remember when the original American Gladiators aired how excited I was to see Shelley Beattie was known as Siren, a Gladiator who was deaf. Unfortunately, she passed away earlier this year.
I caught a few of the new American Gladiators, but missed the one with a deaf competitor who won! I read about it in Karen’s blog.

    lol whut?

  1. My apologies about going OT- this is regarding YLive DeafRead Chat-
If a person is banned – they must follow rules, they have to be logged in 5 to 10 minutes after entering the chat. No more lurking as guests in the YLive DR Chat.
We’ve had enough of trolling and problems to set up guidelines.
Last night, I’ve seen proselytizing from deaf worship, quotes such as “Slavery to sin” “Slavery to G-d”, it’s wonderful to share G-d’s love but to proselytize in the YLive DR Chat is a tad too much.
Once again, I apologise for going OT.

Shelley Beattie, who had long battled with bipolar disorder (previously known as manic depression), attempted suicide in Portland, Oregon on February 13, 2008 and died February 16, 2008
